Horonary President of Conference

Dr. Dina A. Shokry

A distinguished academic in the field of Forensic Medicine.
She is a professor and former Head of the Department of Forensic Medicine and Clinical Toxicology at Cairo University and currently serves as the Head of the Department at the Modern Academy of Technology and Information (MTI) in Egypt.
She is also, the President of the New Mediterranean Academy of Forensic Sciences (NMAFS) and the President of the Arab Union of Forensics and Toxicology (AUFT). Since February 2014, Professor Dr. Dina has been serving as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board for the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Court (OTP-ICC). She also acts as a consultant to the United Nations, specializing in cases related to gender-based violence (GBV) and sexual violence.
Furthermore, she is an active member of Egypt’s National Council for Women (NCW), where she is a member in both the Health and Population Committee and the Scientific Research, Technology, and Cybersecurity Committee.

Dr. Magdy Abdel Azim Kharoshah

Dr. Kharoshah graduated from the Cairo University Faculty of Medicine in 1991. He worked as Resident in General Surgery during his military service at military hospitals from 1994 - June 1996. From July 1996 - 2014 he served as the Forensic Medical Examiner at the Forensic Medicine Authority, Ministry of Justice, Egypt. Currently, he has served as consultant Forensic Medical Examiner at Forensic Medicine Center in Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia .
In 2001 Dr. Kharoshah earned his M.Sc. and in 2005 his M.D. in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology from El Mania University, Egypt. In January 2011 he Founded Egyptian Journal of Forensic Sciences and has served on the Editorial Boards of many other high-profile journals. From January 2012 he was elected as Vice President of the International Association of Law and Forensic Sciences and in February 2014 he was elected as Fellow of Faculty of Forensic and Legal Medicine of Royal College of Physician of London.
Dr. Kharoshah has published extensively in the field of forensic medicine and pathology in international journals and chapters to books. He has also been recognized in Marquis Who’s Who in the World publication.

Dr. Mohamed Hegazy

Dr. Mohamed Hegazy is a legal, policy, and regulatory advisor with over 20 years of experience specializing in communications and information technology (ICT) law.
Hegazy has drafted the cybercrime and data protection laws in Egypt and worked on multi-stakeholder collaboration in areas such as cybersecurity, cybercrimes, and e-commerce laws and regulations.  
Dr. Hegazy has delivered hundreds of legal capacity-building programs for various stakeholders in the Middle East. He has also completed several public policies, legal, and capacity building projects with international organizations such as the EU, USAID, UNODC and WIPO.  
He has lectured and taught at various institutions, including Cairo University's Faculty of Mass Communications and the Egyptian Police Academy.
